Overview
World-builder is a random-map generator, for use by game-masters of role-playing games and conworld builders. It can randomly generate huge numbers of different maps, and has a unique 'Explorer' mode, which lets you quickly generate a large number of small thumbnail views. It will even generate a series of slightly variant worlds so that if you find a world that is close to what you want, but not quite right, you can generate a collection of similar worlds to find a better match.
The Quickstart page will give you a brief introduction to using the World Builder, and should be enough to let you find your way around most of the major features. The other sections of this Help file will give you more detailed information about each part of the program.
Main Window
Most of the features of World Builder are in the main window, the only real exception being the Colors File Editor. There is a standard menu and toolbar which should be familiar to most Windows users. The main part of the Window consists of two tabbed pages: the Explorer page and the World View page. You can freely switch between these pages simply by clicking the relevant tab.
