History
Inevitably, Girios has not one but many histories. Each island has its own history, often completely separate to that of any other island. In the unthinkably distant past, however, the islands were fewer and larger, which probably explains why some races are to be found on multiple islands. Indeed, the islands still show a tendancy to gradually break apart, albeit very, very slowly. Some thinkers have suggested that in the end Girios will consist of a vast number of tiny islands. Others, conversely, have suggested that eventually the islands will begin to converge again, eventually to form huge islands many times the size of the largest existing ones.
