phollúgní
These are some preliminary notes on iPhollúgni Útsi, the language of the Shihari islanders. The language belongs to the Littoral family, but the relationship between this language and Proto-Littoral is not yet clear.
The Kástúri use their own script (details of which will be given later), which it is not practical to reproduce here. Instead, these notes will use an English transcription of the language.
meta-history
The Shihari Islands, and the Phollúgni language, were originally part of the collaborative conworld project, The World of Onwe. Originally, the islands and the language were the creation of Meliste, who left the project early on, and asked for the islands and the language to be passed on to someone else. That 'someone else' turned out to be me. I have extended both the history of the islands, and the language itself, but have tried to preserve the original vision of the language.
